    Excellent Television

    So far this television has met and exceeded expectations. My only disappointment was when mounting on the wall. The design of the back of the television was curved a bit so it required longer than standard wall mount screws. My particular mount did not include them. It would be a good thing if Samsung, knowing this, would include longer screws.

    Amazing viewing experience

    Love it! Totally worth the purchase!

    Everything is all that I wanted it to be! My only beef with this TV is the voice command is limited to the app your under instead of the TV itself. (for example if I want to use the voice app to set a sleep timer it will work under some apps but if I try to do it while watching Netflix: it will pop up saying Netflix doesn’t allow voice control) other than that the picture is amazing, price is great, style looks super, and my experience so far has been outstanding!

    This is by far the best TV I’ve ever owned! Easy to use, very easy to pair my apps and phone with it. I use my TV so much daily, it’s almost my best friend! I will never buy anything but samsung for all of my devices!

    Okay, AMAZING is an overused word these days. Both scenery and people are rendered in such realism I have to remind myself I am only watching TV. But no other word will describe just how sharp, clear, and dimensional the picture is on this TV. We live in an area where most of our air stations are 790 or even 480 so I was concerned these stations would be unwatchable–not to worry! The advertising is not just hype! Even 480 stations are improved by this TV. 790 and 1080 are sharp, clear, and smooth. 4k is perfection. We have a large picture window which we like to have open to the sun, and this screen is plenty bright. This was a lot of money for us, but, simply put, we could not be more pleased with this television.

    Nice Picture, Smart Features Lacking

    TV offers a very good picture but I am not as satisfied with smart features even comparing them to my previously owned 2016 model of Samsung Smart TV which unfortunately died too soon, but due to historic positive experience, I got this Samsung model as replacement. As mentioned, the picture is great, the volume quality is good where my sound bar is not needed. However, the features that I expected to be better than older model, did not satisfy my expectations. Ok, I am not a user that connects TV to the fridge, security camera, baby room, thermometer. I am entry level user using basic properties of a Smart TV: bluetooth, aps, streaming services and internet connectivity. Comparing to older model, my connection to streaming services and online TV services is slower. Netflix for example takes longer to load, I thought this could be Netflix problem, but other TV streaming service that I am using (NetTV Plus) also reacts slower, channels change slower and some would not even load. That Bixby thing sometimes work when you want to voice-change the channel, and sometimes it does not.
    And I miss the “Extra” feature on this TV that was accessible with remote “extra” button, that included games and interactive (Twitter) commenting of the program being watched.
    Overall, average value, maybe a little overpriced for what it is offered, but it is a 2018 model, price is already going down.

    First thing i did when i bought this tv was watch planet earth 2 in 4K and it looked amazing!
    Horizon zero dawn in 4K on my PS4 looks really good as well.

    Q6FN FAIL – Loud Mouse click every minute –

    Purchased my TV 8/11/2018. Clicking noise with service order open (414…..90) in which repair indicates within tech scope. Clicking noise due to thermal and does it while TV is ON OFF and UNPLUGGED (for a few hours).

    Streaming Streamer

    Great TV but

    Just received my 75” Q6F QLED and it is an awesome television. Something you need to know is if you stream DirecTV Now the Samsung app is BETA and it is unwatchable. Picture is terrible and a disservice to this beautiful TV. I had to hook my Apple TV 4K up to stream DirecTV Now to get a good picture, not what I wanted to do, wanted to use just this TV but until they get the DirecTV now app out of Beta, plan on connecting a streaming device if you are a DirecTV Now customer.

    Netflix, Amazon Prime and HBO Now all look great, including 4K offerings.

    Bought this with early Black Friday sale price, great deal and a great TV!

    Beautiful Picture but… WiFi Sucks

    Best picture I have ever seen. But network problems are rampant with this television. For the first week I owned it there was nothing but connection problems over WiFi using Hulu , Netflix , Pandora and even YouTube. After that first week the TV must have finally recognized the network and no issues were had for about a month and a half. Just yesterday my ISP went down for about 5 minutes. When it came back up the connectivity problems started happening again. I reset the network settings on the TV and reconnected to the network thinking that might be the issue. Still had the problems. I closed all the apps and unplugged the TV thinking that would help, boy was I wrong. Still having connectivity issues. It works just fine connected to Ethernet. And it seems this problem only occurs when the network is either newly introduced or when the ISP drops connection. This truly is unacceptable and after going through support tickets and the community forums it doesn’t seem like there is a way to solve it other than getting the TV replaced or having an “Engineer” come out and “fix” the television. Again. Completely unacceptable in this day and age of inter connectivity between every device in a home.

    Bixby is poor software

    I bought this last month it has a great picture. But like my Phone bixby is a train wreck. It is incapable search command like Hallmark it will come back with call mark. This is a tv not a phone. Bixby works so Poorly. I think after years of using Samsung equipment it is time look to other products. having to hang amazon fire on this new TV due to bad software is just wrong.

    BEWARE dts not support

    I instantly regret that i have bought this tv. I have many Mkv file on my nas and i cant play them because SaMsUnG didnt want to pay the DTS licence as a result you CANT play anything with DTS audio. the real irony that i have an oldest version of samsung television who supports DTS. thanks samsung i was a fan of samsung products now i really hate your products and i will never buy anything from you. at least they are other options on the market who support DTS. i wish i could get a refund.

    After watching a few shows from Hulu the tv will freeze and go back to the home screen. Also have an xbox and surround sound hooked up to and it tries to auto connect to each one and the picture quality will auto change back and forth.

    TV Go to Guy

    Great Picture

    Bought this a week ago to replace a Samsung 1080P flat screen. The picture is beautiful. The color gamut is so much broader, the definition is greater, and it has great upscailing. The audio is decent but I am now using an external home theater audio system. This has a picture that is great for the price point OLED is better, but this Q- LED lasts longer. The difference in picture is noticeable up close between the Q-LED and OLED, but at a distance is negligible, the big advantage of the OLED is the deeper blacks which compare to my Pioneer Elite Plasma. But these are some of the best I have seen in an LED. My one major complaint so far is that the user manual is an electronic manual. This is absolutely ludicrous! This is a complex TV with many features and settings. The manual is buried several steps deep in the settings, and to get back to the TV also takes several steps. One would need an eidetic (Photographic) memory to use the e-manual. I liken it to trying to learn how to use a GPS while driving and using an e-manual on a computer, just plain stupid! Samsung is trying to go paperless, or are they trying to save a few bucks on printing. With a TV this complex a full printed manual should be included with every TV. For this reason I deduct a star. I will Update this with some time on reliability of the TV.

    wall mount difficulties

    right out of the box, the package did not include clips for mounting on a wall mount. Samsung service informed me that I would need to purchase them separately from Samsung stores. the clips are noted in the manual as needed accessories. Why were they not included in this $1100 purchase??
