    Great 58” tv

    For the money the tv is excellent. Don’t agree with people saying they have to setup because 1 it has auto setup and 2 I don’t want smart/WiFi/Bluetooth enabled because it records conversations and I like that it’s not enabled by default. Picture is amazing even with hdr turned off.

    Speakers are good also.

    Beautiful TV

    My wife and I just purchased the 58” Samsung NU7100 in replacement of a 55” LG UJ6200 and cannot be more happier with this TV! The Samsung NU7100 is much heavier of a TV but the sound and picture quality beat the LG UJ6200 dramatically. 4K channels feel like you are actually viewing things in person with its 60fps as well as the 120 motion rate. Super impressed with the kind of bass you get from the Samsung NU7100 built in speakers and cannot even imagine what a sound bar would do to improve the sound. I don’t find the angled viewing to alter the image quality/colour as much as lower raters have mentioned. Pretty amazing TV (best bang for your buck) and look forward to continue purchasing Samsung TV’s in the future!

    On Sale – good deal

    I had a 2014 Samsung (excellent) model die on me a few months ago and I replaced it with this. Though this seems much bigger in size (prior tv was a 55 and I actually notice a difference with this-probably because the stand is taller), which I like, the quality as far as picture is not much better. I actually prefer my older model which had 3D (wish Samsung didn’t stop producing model with 3D) and a FAAAAAAAAAR more advanced tv remote. The tv remote on this 58 inch model feels archaic! Most current tvs by other companies have remotes that are similar to using a mouse or like a projector remote so why didn’t Samsung do this for this model? My 2014 Samsung model had this feature plus voice control and made it much easier to type in text on screen…was it from the future? WHAT happened?

    At the sale price I got it for, it was a good deal. Would not by this at regular or a higher price because the product is average. I really wish my old Samsung 2014 led model was still working-I miss it but this will do until whatever happens (because you know they only make tvs to last like iPhones – 2 to 4 years smh).

    Great picture! “No signal” from cable box.

    Love the picture, however about 2/3 of the time I turn the TV on it will not recognize the HDMI cable box signal. The box works fine on every other TV I hook up though. Apparently this is a known problem. Two salesmen said they hear this often on the Samsungs. Remote control is very dated as well. Too bad, loved everything else.

    didnt last at 4 months

    Bought this is September, went out 2 days ago. Screen comes on only noticeable by a slight lighting of the screen then it flashes on and off and often flashes a white blurry streak. Will not turn off. Starts flashing as soon as its plugged in.

    All Around Excellent TV

    I have only had this TV for a few days, but my wife and I really like it. It was a breeze to set up. I connected the Directv cable and the power and in a matter of a few minutes, it was ready to go.
    I do like the apps and web-based portion

    Second Samsung, no regrets

    I purchased this TV to replace an aging Samsung 46″ LCD TV. This unit has kept the hi quality benchmark my 46″ set 10 years ago. Picture quality is great. Good TV if you dropped cable/dish. Most major online providers are supported, and the menu system is fairly easy to navigate snd customize.

    2 months in, and zero issues.

    I’ve only had this TV 58 inch for approximately a week however the color is very good features are good have no problem except for it does not haveBluetooth which on my old Samsung TV 50-inch it does and that was two years old and now the newer one does not kind of disappointed in thatbecause now my smart one remote for the old TV will not work with this one and I prefer that remote

    Wireless display not functional and internet issue

    Wireless display from a brand new Surface Pro does not work and causes internet to disconnect. It’s a well documented issue online with Samsung TVs and no one seems to know how to fix it. The internet also disconnects frequently and requires me to go through the setup again and again.

    Decent features but false advertising

    I bought this and discovered that contrary to the tech specs posted online this does not support 5ghz or AC. If its supposed to then the radio on the device is incorrect as shipped. Samsung support said model did not come with it but site says so under tech specs and downloading the PDF. Reseller listed AC as well.

    This is a great product. Everything is great with only 1 exception….the remote is rediculous! I have several Samsung TV’s and this will be the first to back to the store unless there is another remote option.

    Disappointed

    I purchased this at Costco last month to replace my 10 year old 40 inch Samsung and needed the 3 HDMI inputs. In the store the picture looked fantastic. Unfortunately at home unless you are sitting directly in front of the set the picture washes out as soon as you move off center. The best viewing angle doesn’t hold up much beyond 10 degrees of center. Even the resolution wasn’t as good as my old set. I contacted Samsung support and was told that this was an “entry level” set and if I wanted a better viewing angle or picture I should have bought a higher end model. The one positive is that the sound quality was good.

    I’m semi-satisfied with this TV. Purchased in December 2018. But yesterday I started getting some odd flickering and the TV turned off on its own a few times last week. After unplugging everything and reconnecting, it seems ok, for now. I’ll be really disappointed if this thing dies after 4 months like many others have said. $800 for 4 months…that would be a problem.

    There also seems to be an issue with accurately displaying the display info…Shows wrong source, wrong icon, wrong resolution constantly. It’s rather annoying. Seems if you bug it enough, it’ll eventually show you the right info. But it is usually wrong. This is the biggest reason why I’m giving the low rating. This stuff is basic. This TV should get it right, yet it doesn’t. I’ve tried several HDMI cables too. None fix this problem.

    Now I’m hoping I didn’t get ripped off buying this model…

    Trouble with adjustments -settings.

    I have had this about 2 weeks and am not happy with it. I wish I could send it back. I have it on Craig’s list now. I am having trouble getting the picture adjusted to my liking. It is either to dark or is not so clear. This is with Comcast. I am using new high speed, hi quality HDMI cables . Still not as good as my old Samsung.. It did not come with a manual , so I am winging it. I hope to see it soon! Keith

    Places Ads on the Home Screen, you can’t disable

    Had an older Samsung flat screen TV. Loved it. Bought this new TV, and there are ADS on the home screen. I love it when i spend hundreds of dollars on something to be shown ads which I can’t disable. To have pre-installed apps which I can’t delete. Unbelievable. Will probably return tomorrow, but not before writing a terrible review anywhere I can find.
