    Great picture!

    Hulu does not work with Hulu live. Get the old hulu app with no profiles. HDR is a pain to get working on a PC. Feels like it needed 1 more hdmi input.

    Terrible TV

    Just bought. Will not stay connected to internet, wifi or hard wire. Support has been no help. Support has been non-responsive. Tech to come next week. If can’t fix I’m sending back. Smart TV doesn’t do much good if can’t get stable connection. Also doesn’t support 5G wifi. Very disappointed.

    Great Tv but I can’t watch hulu at all!

    We bought this tv last weekend and we are in love with it. But when I’m paying to stream certain things I would like to watch them. It does seem like there is a huge problem hulu and samsung tv’s. Samsung please help me fix this!!!!

    Samsung SmartHub Lightyears Behind Roku

    TV and picture quality are exceptional unless you are trying to utilize ANY of the smart tv functionality. A majority of the normal apps I used with my previous Roku Smart TV including Pandora, Xfinity Beta App, Netflix, etc. all malfunction on this device. For example, Pandora will not play a majority of the songs on any station I select and the Xfinity Beta app only fills 60% of my screen with a grainy picture. This is all while using a hardwired, not a wifi, connection to the internet.

    Additionally, even though this is a 2018 model, the wifi adapter will only connect to a 2.4 gHz connection. Will not hold a Wifi connection and must be hardwired to still even obtain consistent, grainy streaming.

    I worked with Samsung technical support to perform a SmartHub then Factory reset which did not fix any of these issues 45 minutes later. I will be returning this device.

    Terrible TV

    Not a smart tv at all. Will not work with Spectrum app. Switched to DirecTV Now and a little better. Forget about connecting to you Samsung fridge. Support has been terrible and Samsung will not let me return. Will never buy Samsung again.

    Great image quality, underwhelming apps

    I just bought this tv and am just a little disapointed. Half the reason I upgraded from an old LG was to get newer versions of apps, mainly hulu with live tv. Always believed Samsung was top shelf when it comes to features but this TV runs an older version of hulu without live, though it is brand new. Probably going to return it for a tv that does feature hulu live. Very satisfied with image clarity however and other apps.

    I just got this today. Everything is fine until we go to terms and condition and it won’t download. Checked all connections and smart hub and it always fail at step 5…so now it’s a useless smart tv

    Decent TV for the money

    I’ve never owned a Samsung tv before but I worked at Best Buy for 3 years so I got pretty familiar with them. We also sold a fair amount of 6 series tv’s so this Black Friday I decided to upgrade my Insignia 50″ to the 65″ NU6070 (Best Buy only model). Well… I had to exchange that tv twice due to manufacturing issues with the display. This last time I went with the NU6900 (same tv just not a Best Buy only model) and I haven’t had any issues at all with it. I will say that there are definitely better tv’s out there, for the money this tv is pretty good. Picture quality is pretty good, however I did have to turn off the judder setting as I noticed it was actually causing more judder. Not having 5Ghz wifi support isn’t a big deal for me as I have a wired Apple TV that I use. The one big downfall to this tv is only having 2 HDMI ports. You get what you pay for with tv’s (any technology for that matter) so for $800 it’s not bad!

    Excellent Picture

    I’ve had the tv for a few weeks now, and hands down it beats the previous Samsung tv it replaced.. the only thing – I cant believe – is that it only has 2 hdmi ports. With today’s advent of internet enabled items, gaming systems, etc – there are only 2 ports.
    Other than that, I must admit this is the most beautiful picture I’ve ever seen. We watched Avatar in blue ray, and the actors almost appeared to be coming off the screen.. even HD channels appear better..
    Setup is easy, firmware/software updates are easy, navigation of inputs and “home” items are easy.. Great TV..

    very disappointed

    I already own a 65″ 7 series and I love it. I bought this 6 series because the price was right and I was looking for another tv. The difference between the two is eyeopening. The picture is much too dark despite trying every adjustment possible. I gave it to a friend and bought an 8 series which I love.

    Lacking in customizable features.

    The TV DOES NOT support HDR10. The spec sheet lies. My Xbox One X will not play games in HDR, and the TV’s HDR options are missing from the menu.

    There is no option to turn off local dimming/dynamic backlight/adaptive contrast, so the picture randomly gets brighter and darker. Very annoying.

    I contacted a Samsung tech, and they remotely controlled the TV, but did nothing but browse the Settings menu for an hour.

    Every time I exit any menu, the Home menu appears. Why? If I wanted to see the Home menu, I would press the Home button. No option to disable this.

    The picture quality could potentially be really good, but there are no options to make it so. Therefore, I rate it one star.

    I had a Vizio so you know I enjoy this Samsung! Picture is fantastic in 4K. A bit slow in fast scenes. For the price it is well worth it.

    Wont work with my vesa mount

    Love the picture and features. I do miss the air mouse from my previous samsung 4k series tv. When I install on my vesa mount no matter if i use the attachments that are included. My tv is angled back. I have mounted it half a dozen times and still can not get it to mount straight. This isn’t my first tv I have mounted. (like my 6) Back of tv is not flat like the rest of my tvs. I don’t know if I got a dud or not. I called customer support and they are useless tried to pass me off to someone else. Said I have to deal with people I bought it from and wouldn’t help me. Now I have to buy a new stand. Buy a different tv if you are vesa mounting

    Fantastic 4k TV with unique features

    I purchased this TV to replace my Samsung plasma 50 inch TV because of lacking features. The plasma TV was over 12 years old and I was very happy with it but time takes its toll.
    I was surprised at the features on the 2018 model I purchased. The color is really good and the pictures are Clear and realistic. The sound from the 20 watt amp is better than expected and the wifi is supburb.
    It was very light in weight and easy to install but a manual like the old TV had would have been better than the electronic version for learning the features. It also works with Alexa for turning on and off, but not channel changing or volume but definitely a plus.
    My model also does not support bluetooth which would have been a plus.
    All and all I love this TV and would recommend almost any Samsung product I have purchased over the years for reliability and quality.
    I did purchase a Samsung soundbar with wireless woofer and I really like that too.

    You cannot go wrong with this model and any one of these TV’s from series 6 to series 8.

    Everything is great so far

    I bought this two weeks ago and no issues so far. Bought at a warehouse liquidation sale. Speaker sound quality isn’t great but it’s a tv it’s main function is to display a picture not to sound great but I don’t have an issue with that as it’s hooked up to an amp with Polk RTA 12c’s. I don’t use the apps on the tv because I bought a 4K Samsung DVD player so I can’t say how the WiFi is on the tv. Great picture quality however it isn’t quite was contrasting as the higher models like the 8 series and above. My next purchase will definitely be the quantum dot Samsung TVs. It was really light weight so that made the job of picking it up easier. Very bright display exactly how I like it.

    Great starter 4K tv, but….

    Have had several samsung products, including a tv from 2008 that still works perfectly. I have had this tv for 2 months and it is unwatchable. Picture will constantly flash, and at times show vertical colored lines. Waiting on service request
