The best TV I’ve ever used.

What I love about this TV is the ability to tuck away the cables from sight. It makes my living look neat and elegant.
Overall the performance has not been disappointing so far.

The features are a tremendous value!

We shopped around a lot before purchasing the Samsung QLED TV. The price was reasonable for all of the wonderful features. We have another Samsung LED television and love it, but the crispness of the picture on the 2018 QLED model was unbelievable and we were able to see every detail of the image that we felt we were part of the scene. This was well worth the investment!

    Amazing Picture & Design

After getting this TV on my wall, I can’t get over how amazing it looks, and that’s not even with it turned on. The no gap wall mount makes it look like a picture frame, but when it’s turned on, the picture just blows you away, even making older shows look great. Side by side with my older Samsung HDTV, there’s no comparison in picture quality and design. The OneConnect cable adds to the minimal footprint of the TV, and I can’t wait to enjoy all our programming for years to come.

    Great priduct..very nice!!!

good product at a reasonable price, at first I had to activate it but with patience I did it well. the only thing that I do not like is that it does not have bluetho, but otherwise everything is fine. very satisfied with what was received.

    Just beautiful!!!

From the first time I turned on this Samsung QLED TV it was beautiful and the colors are bright and clear and the operation of the remote is very user friendly. I compared it with the Sony TV with the same features but found that the Samsung TV had better qualities than the Sony, especially the “clean cable solution“ It makes the Samsung TV look so clean on my family room wall and it looks like a picture frame. Just beautiful!!!

    QLED vs. Plasma ???? Here’s what I found …

When plasma TV’s were being phased out I bought one of the very last Samsung 51″ sets. Shortly after, the plasmas were gone forever I worried that I’d never get another TV that could compare. Well, I finally decided to do the upgrade to a 4K QLED and I have been shocked at how much better it is than the plasma (which is now in a bedroom – still a great TV). My Samsung Q7 55″ amazes me everyday. I have always periodically upgraded my tech products at home – tv’s, receivers, PC’s, et al, and I can honestly say that this upgrade to a 4K HDR QLED TV from a great plasma set is the best upgrade yet. Really amazing!

    Amazing features and design

This q7 is my first QLED. So a far I have been very impressed with the performance as well as the amazing picture quality. For a TV that goes in my room and is also heavily used for movies and gaming, It is honestly the best value and the best choice. The 100% color is a very noticeable especially In colorful scenes. The gaming mode is augustly a must have for anybody that owns A gaming system especially and xbox One X. Owning this TV makes it extremely easy to push to customers as a Best Buy employee Because I know how much I appreciate mine. The design is a next step compared to last year’s model, Especially with a new one connect Box that does not require a power cable coming from the TV! With my TV mounted on the wall my friends are always amazed by the clean look it gives the room. The new features on the 2018 model are amazing as well. Ambient mode takes it one step farther at giving it a clean look! The addition of Bixby was also a great feature the voice command is extremely accurate, It works with no trouble at all. I love my TV and will always upgrade with QLEDs from now on!

IP Power On Failure with SmartThings App for iOS

Because this model listed IP power on control in the manufacturer specs, I purchased two of these Q7FN models. To my disappointment the SmartThings app for iOS X still does not power on either television. I first called the SmartThings department about this issue in June 2018 and was told that “the engineering team is aware of the issue and is working to resolve it.” To follow up months later, I called again in September 2018 and was again told “the engineering team is aware of the issue and is working to resolve it.” I am disappointed that I purchased two Samsung Q7FN televisions with specs and features, published by the manufacturer, yet not functional.

    Nobody Important

    Really Nice

Just bought this to replace our UHD TV that was 5 years old. Absolutely stunning. Quite a difference to the UHD. The colors are great. Real blacks, almost too bright reds. The frame less picture screen is nice. The One Connect Box is a good feature. Can hardly see the wire. I still ran it behind the wall as the old set was set up that way. I got the No-Gap Wall Mount too. Nice easy mount. Over all, I like it. Nice TV.

Won’t stay turned on! Known problem….

I just unboxed my $1500 TV, got it turned on, and it keeps shutting off and then rebooting itself. Found a Samsung community board that details my issue occurring in many of the QLED models with feeble fixes that don’t last. So annoying that my “smart” TV can’t turn on/stay on. I can’t even fully set it up….no tv for me just a giant black slab hanging on my wall. My husband is just staring at it muttering how it is the “Stupidest thing he’s ever seen in his life.” We are not pleased to say the least.

Do not buy the Q7FN – Edge Lit Leds are horrible

I had the Q7FN for less than a month when I had to have Samsung technician come to my house to view the excessive white cones of light that emanated from the corners of the screen. These lights affected the picture several inches into the screen. The technician agreed that the picture did not look as it should (that the leds must have been “off” in the corners) but when he called Samsung he was told that those are within Samsung’s standards and that nothing could be done for me. These lights are similar to having flashlights on in the corners of the TV all of the time so dark scenes looks absolutely terrible.I don’t even want to watch the TV now. I’d rather watch my $350 LED TV or my 10 year old Plasma. I see the potential for this TV to be awesome but this defect ruins the experience. All of my packaging is gone and I bought it directly from Samsung so I can’t return it, but I definitely would if I could. Thanks and good luck.

    amazing TV

This is the tv u need to have to experience high quality 4k hdr content and as well as anything u can imagine internet streaming sharing connecting to devices apps while being easy to use. Being disabled it helps alot with voice remote so it’s accessible. But I was hoping it supported dolby vision and updated on its own like it says instead of having to check online and downloading the new update firmware to a usb?

    Great Picture, Apps suck

I read several reviews and checked out Consumer Reports and all said this was a great TV. I would agree except for the apps. Not sure if its a Samsung issue or not but there are some apps that don’t work very well. CBS, DirecTV Now, History are just a few that I have had trouble with. I would think that Samsung would want all of them to work perfectly so as to not make their product look bad. I hope there is an update in the future to correct them.

    Beautiful Picture

I bought this about 2.5 months ago and I couldn’t be happier. I love the one connect box that makes it super easy for me to put all my connections into. The picture quality is amazing and watching 4k UHD movies really blew my mind.

The one remote took a little getting used too but now I find it super easy. I control my Apple TV and Sounbar with it and setting those up was super easy. I can also turn on my Xbox with it, but generally I don’t since I do need the controller in order to get the full range of options. I recommend searching on the internet for some articles about calibration for the set. Once, I did calibrate it the picture is what I want. Def would recommend turning off the so-called “soap opera” effect which is easy to do in the settings. I do not use the built in apps. If I could I wish you could delete some of the preinstalled ones from 3rd parties aka Direct Tv etc. Since, I already have an Apple Tv I also do not use the Bixby voice since I find that Siri works best if I really need to talk to my Tv. I rarely use the voice functions, because I have no desire to talk to my Tv.

    Do not buy!!

I bought this TV 7/31/18 brand new. By the 2nd week of October 2018 there was a vertical line across the lower 1/3 of the TV and everything beneath that was blurry. It took weeks of phone calls to get it replaced. Finally the replacement arrived on January 8th 2019. I must say they downgraded the TV to a 6 rather than the 7 I originally purchased. Not pleased about that but would have overlooked that if the replacement TV worked. The delivery man helped me get it out of the box and then left. I hooked it up without any difficulty to find that this one didn’t work at all. The screen was black and the automated voice kept saying to choose your language which could not be done because the screen was black. Then for couple minutes the screen lit up (no picture) and there were horizontal lines across the center and vertical lines along the right side with a black blotch in the upper right hand corner. I called Samsung about 10 minutes after noticing the TV was damaged. I wanted a refund. They made it my fault that I accepted the TV in that condition. Physically there was no damage. They said that the delivery man was to set it up. He is a delivery man for goodness sakes, not a service man. I have continued to call Samsung about weekly to get a refund to no avail. At this point I would take my chances with another replacement so I am not out $1500. I keep getting the run around without any satisfaction. All I want is a TV with a good picture. I thought this would be it. I was very wrong. Beware.

    Beautiful Picture, Ambient Mode!

I bought this TV about a month ago (along with the HW-N950). I debated between the 2018 and the 2019 model, but based on price and the fact that the 2018 has the one connect box, I went with the 2018.

Set up was super easy, absolutely no hitches. TV came in great packaging and worked right out of the box.

Picture – I am not an video/audio expert, but I love the way the TV displays cable/Netflix/Prime. As I stated,I don’t pay attention to black levels/Color I just put it on Movie mode and made slight adjustments and it looks great.

I also bought the No Gap Wall mount (another feature that is gone with the 2019 model). I had some one set that up and then …. Ambient Mode! I read about a lot of problems with the Ambient Mode so I was really worried. The Ambient Mode is one of the reasons I got this TV. I used my Iphone 6S and after an agonizing few minutes, my photos (most of them anyway) showed up on the Smart Things App. I chose one and it went right onto the screen.

I keep the photo up all the time, it is super calming and cool to have a photo up on the wall (I am afraid to mess with it – I will try the other features later). But when people walk in, I get all sort of comments (Is that a TV? You don’t have a TV? Is that pasted on there?). It looks that good! I don’t know why Samsung got rid of the one connect box and the No Gap Mount for the newer models.

I hope that they keep adding features and support for Ambient mode, it really is innovative.

    This TV is awesome!

broke in less than an hour!

bought this tv direct from samsung, it took two weeks to ship from california to nevada. strike 1.
i finally received my tv, got it unboxed and connected. i was going thru the setup menu when two lines appeared on the screen, one horizontal and one vertical with four burnt pixels around the intersection. i never got to see anything but the setup menu before it broke. strike 2.
samsung has never repaired my tv or made any effort to remedy the issue even after multiple attempts with warranty support. i was told the tv was too new and they couldn’t get parts or provide a replacement because there were none available, seems odd that the manufacturer cant get parts for its own products or even provide a replacement when i could drive to a local store and buy it off the shelf. strike 3.
i finally gave up and learned to live with the lines in my screen.
