    Good TV but needs Setup after delivery

    The TV is very nice, the sound actually pleasantly surprised me, very nice for such small speakers.
    There are few unexplained drawback though… The TV is shipped with HRD+ disabled.. so you’d need to manually enable it, so does bluetooth – same, not enabled but exists.
    Most disappointing is the lack of 5gHz wifi, for this model year it seems old not to include dual band wifi.
    After tinkering with the settings and learning how to go deep into the settings it actually very good TV with a very nice high quality picture.

    Amazing!

    The 65″ NU7100 Smart 4K UHD TV is amazing! The size alone really caught me by surprise. I didn’t think it would be much improvement over my 55″ TV, but I was wrong. The sheer size really gives it a commanding presence in my living room. Also, the design is sleek and slim. It is the perfect addition to any TV watching room – it’s the jewel of the room.

    The next aspect that surprised me was the sharpness and pure colors that the TV projected. I anticipated a TV of this size would not have such clear, succinct colors. It really enhanced each and every program I watched. I especially loved watching game shows, movies and reality shows on the NU7100 – they were “larger than life”! My family and friends love coming over to watch TV at my house now – they love the TV!

    Another amazing aspect is the smart functions. They are so convenient and easy to use. No more searching – everything is right in front of you! Not only are they easily accessible, you have access to any smart function you can imagine or need. I love that I can toggle between cable, Netflix, Amazon Video, etc. with just a few clicks on the remote.

    Overall, I am completely amazed with the Samsung 65″ NU7100! The whole package makes it incredible: size, shape, sleekness, clearness, vivid colors and convenience.

    Love this tv

    I was pleased when I got my tv and how easy it was to inbox and set up. Love the size and how thin it is compared to my larger projection 3D tv. The color resolution is much better but the sound is up and down for me. Sometimes it seems loud and others it’s very quiet. This tv has improved our overall family time tremendously. We spend more time watching shows and Youtube as a whole instead of having each kid tucked into their personal devices. Also was very disappointed that they took away the Bluetooth feature. My kids do a lot of gaming so I was definitely look I g forward to that. Overall this smart tv does exactly what it should and my kids use this to stream YouTube videos more than watching regular tv. I would like to have seen Samsung go forward instead of stepping back with their design and features but for the price, I can’t complain.

    WIFI is terrible!

    Just recieved this TV and the WIFI is terrible. This is my first Samsung TV that will NOT recognize a hidden network. Even if the network revealed, the WIFI performance is spotty. It sometimes needs to be reset which means having to re-enter your network info all over again.

    Lack of DLNA and DTS support

    The video is awesome. If you are going to just connect to established streaming services like Hulu & Netfilx along with HDMI inputs then this TV is for you.

    If you are a do it yourself type of watcher and use Plex, Serviio and other 3rd party DLNA streaming services then stay away from this TV. It does not support DLNA or the DTS audio codec.

    Awesome pictures

    This is an awesome quality for the price. At times we feel like we can skip a rock across the lake on the tv, or Fly pass the moon with ET. Even our blu ray movies picture look ten times better. Love this tv.

    Great for the price point!

    As far as an entry level 4K TV goes, this is great! The colors are vibrant, for a VN panel, the speakers are surprisingly decent. The brightness is also pretty good. It’s not on the level of an OLED panel as far as blacks and color accuracy, but it’s really good. I got the 65″ for my bedroom, stupid yes, but it’s really a good size. I highly recommend this tv. The only real complaint I have is I could use maybe 2 more HDMI inputs for the future, blu-ray player, PC and Fire stick and I’m out of inputs. . .

    Wait till you spend almost 1000 dollars on this TV only to discover you got a remote that looks like it was manufactured in 1980. No wonder apple is doing better than samsung.

    New TV with software and image issues

    I bought this TV completely new from Samsung. From the first day the TV kept restarting randomly and image froze sometimes. I requested a technical service. After that the TV showed kind of a frame in the middle of the screen with a slightly different color…now I’m waiting for the second service in less than a month…very disappointed with Samsung TVs…I was not expecting so many issues with a brand new TV…I wouldn’t recommend this TV to anybody…

    Great TV!

    I bought this TV last night and got it hooked up, and therein lies the only problem I found with it. My old Samsung (50″ model) has 5 or 6 HDMI ports, and I was using four of them. This TV only has three ports, so I am trying to cure that problem by hooking up my combo VCR/DVD recorder unit through RCA cables. Kind of disappointed that my older TV outclasses the new one in this area. Today at work, I learned that two of my co-workers also have Samsung TVs, but higher end than my new one, and both of theirs came with One Connect Samsung HDMI hubs. So, my upset is – why did Samsung not carry this feature on to the new 7100 series TV? Both of my co-workers have units older than mine. I did a search online for a compatible USB hub to solve my problem, but only succeeded in finding hubs for the “J” and “M” series TVs. Mine is the “N” series. Pretty disappointed about this. Wonder if Samsung has a “fix” for this?

    Nice TV but problems with sound bar

    Nice features and great picture, but have constant problems with a non-samsung sound bar. It is connected via HDMI ARC, but It doesn’t recognize it every time I turned the TV. Reset the settings a couple of time with tech support and works at the time, but next morning it’s hit or miss whether it’s still working. I need to unplug, wait 20 seconds, and plug in again and that usual works. Otherwise, I try again. Very frustrating.

    Great just remember everything isn’t in 4K yet

    I bought this tv and I was super excited. When we hooked everything up I plopped on the couch and turned my cable box on to watch the lakers game. And initially I was disappointed. The sharpness of the images was my biggest concern. It looked nothing like the image we saw at the store. I went to Netflix and though that was much better it still wasn’t what imagined. So I was prepared to return this and possibly shell out more money. When I went back to Best Buy requested an expert in these TVs and he explained that one I could upgrade to 4K Netflix and two majority of cable boxes only output 1080p and although the TVs capability is like tripe that it can only show what it’s being given. So just like cable and streaming had to catch up and adjust to HD about 15 years ago, It has to adjust to 4K as well. So I upgraded to 4K Netflix and it really is amazing just like the store. And I’m finding that some cable channels show exceptionally better than others. All in all I’m very very happy with the purchase and I’m grateful that I was guided through the process from the Samsung expert at Best Buy.

    Will Samsung do the right

    TV defect -very thin vertical line down the screen

    I bought this TV ONE DAY AGO (yesterday) and I brought it home it looked great and then upon further inspection I noticed a vertical line down my brand new TV. I did not but stores Warranty b/c i was told there is a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty. It was a Christmas/Birthday present and now I can’t help but focus on the line while others don’t see it as much I see it constantly clearly. I am extremely upset as it was a big ticket item for me. I fully expect for this to be covered but it is a huge hassle and disappointment after having been a loyal long time Samsung (multiple televisions 55″ ) and phones etc. for years,

    I bought the 65inch version of this tv. The picture is great. The only issue that I have is that it came with Directv now (beta) installed on it. Beta version is no longer supported by AT&T. So I deletd the app and searched for directv now, and the only one that opos up is the beta version. I was told when I purchased this I would be able to install my app on this tv.

    This is my second Samsung TV. I had trouble with the first one so I figure that years later I’d give Samsung another shot. That was a mistake. I have had repeated problems with software and error codes.
    I purchased an LG 42″ several years and not one time had a problem. I wish I had stayed with LG.

    Great video, but SUPER heavy

    I bought this today as a replacement for my 55″ Samsung TV of the same series. I just wanted something bigger with good quality 4K UHD for gaming & this delivered! Beautiful, smooth picture, just like my 55″ had. Unfortunately, there is a little big of a lag that I didn’t notice with my 55″ & I’m not sure if it’s because of the January 2019 update or not yet. I know it’s not my internet because I have it connected with an ethernet cable to my gaming-speed router. Maybe it’s just in need of a restart since the update? Hopefully, this is an issue that resolves itself with time. This TV is extremely heavy, at least 80 pounds without the stand. I struggled to lift & install it.

    Don’t Buy This TV

    This TV failed after 14 months. It started turning itself off for no reason, often after just a few minutes of viewing. Other owners have reported (see Google) the same problem with this tv. Contacted Samsung support and got the standard line that the tv was out of warranty. They offered an accommodation that they pay for parts and I pay labor. I have 8 other Samsung tv’s but this one is a lemon. Service call is $100 just to come out to your home. Anything they do is on top of that, so pretty quickly your repair cost in almost the price of a new tv. So essentially, view this as a 14 month, throw away tv.

    I have had this tv for 11 days and it is working good. Set up was easy picture Is really good only thing that needs improving is the sound. But I used optimized mode and that has helped a lot.

    Sometimes it Freezes up!!

    I have a Samsung on Master Bedroom and Guest bedroom, Sony on living room. The two Samsung for some reason sometimes freezes up the image or get distorted. I’ve asked cable provider, is not them, in living room things are fine. Don’t know why. I love Samsung Appliances!.. overall good rating is because I’m hoping it stop!!.

    Six weeks after I purchased this TV, I noticed white ghost shadows in all 4 corners when watching a black background scene. Samsung doesn’t want to repair it because according to Samsung technical department it is within specifications.

    Worthless as a “smart” tv

    The router is directly below the tv in the console. It loses connection every single day. The time it takes to reboot everything at least once a day is more than annoying. I will absolutely never buy Samsung again.
