    Oh, it’s just great!!!

    There is so much to recommend this TV. The picture is just gorgeous. It’s clear, bright, detailed … no matter if I’m watching a Blu-ray disk, streaming video, or gaming with a PS4 Pro. Switching between these is very easy with the remote: push the microphone button and speak … HDMI1, HDMI2. Simple, no? I can also watch YouTube videos, pictures from my PC or iPad, & programming from any number of apps. You can add lots of apps for lots of different things to watch … or delete apps not in use for an uncluttered view of the screen (and reinstall those apps later). Factory settings is really all I needed, though changing the settings is easily accessed through the remote. I’ve added the Amazon Firestick for UHD TVs and added to range of what I want to do. There is nothing not to like here. It was a great purchase!!

    Great looking TV

    I’ve had the TV about a month now and we just love it. Crystal clear picture and numerous functions. Love the fact that you can switch between Netflix, Amazon Prime video, Fire TV Stick, Chromecast, Pandora, etc. easily through the home key on the remote.

    Nice T.V.

    I bought this T.V. to watch 4k programs. I have a lot of Samsung tech and have been pleased with the performance, look and reliability.
    I recommend this TV for those wanting to upgrade to 4K but don’t want to spend a lot on the more expensive models.

    High quality picture at a good price

    This TV has amazing picture quality and features for the money and it’s big! My wife and I both prefer Samsung TVs and we decided that we wanted to get one that was comparable to the top of the line Samsung models without paying a top of the line price. This TV for the bill perfectly. It has all the latest technology to connect to Netflix, Amazon and Hulu etc. and is super easy to use. I love how the remote doesn’t overwhelm you with 100 buttons. It’s very friendly and intuitive to use. The sound quality is good at low to medium volume but definitely needs some assistance at high volumes and for movie sound effects. Overall we are very happy with the purchase and would recommend this TV to anyone who is looking for a Big Bang for their buck!

    Almost perfect t.v. Great speakers but for perfect sound I always suggest sound bar and sub woofer. Fantastic clear picture from all angles. No blurring. No signs of burn in. Easy to adjust picture. Talk to remote takes using a few times to get use to , once done becomes easier. Comes with a lot of apps and is easy to add many more. Unit has three HDMI connections where most new 2018 models have only one or two. I purchased new Blue ray player and have Dish DVR and Roku. No issues with hookups.

    The TV, once you find it at the right price, will give you the best bang for your buck. Samsung has come a long way with its smart features, I could really say that I really enjoy using it now. There are a ton of HDR 4K tv out there, but if you want the sure thing, get this tv.

    Great picture, 2018 Smart TV

    Purchased 2 Samsung TVs at Best Buy. A 2018 Samsung flat 4K hd Smart tv. Very easy to set up with simple directions to unpack the tv and connect it to my Satellite receiver box. Picture is beautiful and vibrant. Connected my Yamaha sound bar & sub woofer to this set. Movies are fantastic as well as sports picture on this set. Very pleased with my Samsung 65” as well as the 55” Samsung that I purchased also.

    I’m liking it so far…

    I have had this big ole t.v. for a week now and am really liking it so far. I owned a 47 inch Samsung 3D set that was great as well. I don’t think the picture is as good as the 47 incher but sometimes it is, if that makes sense? I notice the 65 is darker at times and then it rights itself after awhile.
    As far as the 4k, I don’t know yet. I decided not to pay the extra $10 a month to the cable company for the 4k box. Really not enough content for that, yet!!
    Its to bad that I can’t write about shipping as its not allowed in the “writing guidelines”.
    I also purchased the sound bar with woofer. Nice as well. I don’t think the surround sound is as good as the old style one that I have from the 90s. Still sound good though.

    I bought this on 8/3/18 and it is the greatest. Beautiful picture out of the box easy setup. Only issue that the sound on a few channels diminishes when selected. Installer said it wasn’t the tv but it was a cable box problem from my provider. Will get a newer cable box from my provider.

    Great Pic, very poor connections for accessories

    Bought this TV for the Pic and refresh rate. Excellent TV for those things. This has a box that connects to the tv. There are NO extra plug on this TV. So if you want to connect something it has to be Blue Tooth. You cannot connect any other speakers to it and have the TV speakers on. Wanted to just add a sound bar but it turns off the TV speakers.

    Good News / Bad News

    Excellent picture. However, due to the known issue of backlight bleeding, I’ve had my LCD panel replaced three times in 2.5 years. To Samsung’s credit, they’ve replaced the panel with no cost to me. Sadly, my current LCD panel (replaced 5 months ago) is now exhibiting the same issue. I’m afraid my only solution is to buy another (brand??) of TV. If you’re listening Samsung – don’t make me do it. I’ve probably sold 30 of your TV’s upon my recommendation due to my audio/video knowledge.

    Muddy artifact filled Cable/satelite upscaling

    I had originally went to BestBuy last night to look at a different 4K tv that supports Dolby Vision as well as HLG and HDR-10. The salesman told me they didn’t have it in stock and sold me on getting this tv instead. He repeatedly assured me that it supported Dolby Vision and was a great cable/satellite 1080i/1080p to 4K upscaler.

    It wasn’t until I got home, unpacked this heavy thing, and set it up that I realized he had lied on both fronts. This does a HORRIBLE job at upscaling my Xfinity cable (1080i) connection and does NOT support Dolby Vision. The motion also looks off/weird.

    In fact, despite postive upscaling reviews online, the upscaler is so bad that my parents older 4K tv (which only costed them $300+) does a much better job up upscaling from 1080i/1080p and their motion doesn’t look weird.

    The Samsung NU8000 makes everyone and everything (other than still pics and 4k media look blurry/muddy, with tiny pixelated dots (digital artifacts) in areas like eyes and mouths or basically in any moving areas. The motion also looks a bit weird and not natural at all.

    All in all, I am very disappointed with this tv and will be returning it today for a refund.

    Helpful tip: When purchasing a tv, remember to do your homework first. I should have looked up whether or not Samsung supports Dolby Vision. That was my error.

    Also, remember that tvs on display in stores are playing 4k media – not streaming cable tv and not upscaling. So, you cannot test their upscaling capabilities unless the salesperson actually switches the tv to a cable input. So ask them to switch it before you buy.

    Limited Sound Output Options

    Picture is fine, but only one sound output at a time. No supplemental bluetooth or audio-out headphones while using internal speakers. Same with mixing bluetooth output and audio output. No way to add supplemental speakers to internal or other external speakers. Samsung support says only one sound output at a time. A big disappointment for us hearing impared that need supplemental headphones.

    Great TV, needed service after 4 days of use

    Brilliant display, took a while to get used to menu, settings, etc. however very nice tv. Downside is after 4 days there was a horizontal black line across the bottom of the tv. A repair has been scheduled to replace the screen, however since it is wall mounted, I will need to take down, unplug everything and get replaced. Kind of disappointing.

    Horrible for Football

    This TV has a great picture for watching tv programing but football jutters so bad I can’t watch it. I have tried all the advanced settings – on off 0 or 10 nothing changes. Went through support and they remoted in. Turned off the jutter setting and it didn’t do a think. Rep asked if that fixed the issue and when I said no he just disconnected.     I had a 42 inch LG and I upgraded to 65 inch UHDTV. Samsung claims to have 240 motion rate, which is double of the actual rate. 120 Hz is a good rate, compared to the 60hz which we get in low end tvs. But unfortunately, I cannot watch sports like Soccer or Cricket on this tv. You cannot spot a fast moving ball or object on this tv. I have tried all settings and contacted support and the response was very lukewarm.
    I will return this tv back to best buy and will never buy a Samsung again.

    The remote works with bluetooth, so Bluetooth cannot be turned off. My TV keeps asking me if I want the audio to be played on my neighbor’s Bluetooth headphones!!!     Looks awful with AppleTV 4K using anything HDR

    Using AppleTV 4K with any app/movie that utilizes HDR on this TV looked terrible. The menu was completely washed out when setting the AppleTV menu to HDR, had to set it to SDR. HDR movies were so dark that they could not be watched. Had to return the TV. Confirmed this is a widely found issue when checking multiple forums. I suspect its an issue with the HDR10+ not playing nice with this source…..But beyond that the TV was great using it’s own apps. However a TV this expensive should work with some of the best AV devices on the market.

    Great TV for the price.

    The NU8000 is a great TV for the value. It has all of the same features as the QLED tv’s as far as software goes. The thing I like most is that is supports Freesync 2 with my Xbox One X. I do wish that is had the quantum dot color like the previous KS8000, and the build quality is not the same. For built in speakers, they are excellent. This TV sounds better than it’s more expensive counterparts. Overall, very happy.

    Poor picture quality

    I bought this TV about a month ago, this is my 5th Samsung TV in my house at this time, I have a washer, dryer, fridge, soundbar that is all Samsung and soon buying a Samsung Gas Range.

    Out of all the TV’s that I have bought in all the years I have been buying them, this TV is one of the worst for black screens. The screen looks etchy, and if there is a word for it I would use pixely.

    I have called my provider for my satellite and they have adjusted things on there end, they are telling me its the TV not them.

    At the store WOW it looked amazing then when I got home and connected it….big difference. I know that the feeds coming into the stores are 4K and if you have a 4K feed it should come close to what the screen at the store shows.

    I have regular non HD, HD and Netflix 4K and none of them look like the screen when I was at the store, I have gone back and talked to your Samsung Rep about 3 times, who has been at the store now for more then 2 weeks and he said that this should not be happening.

    I have changed all my cables including the wire from the feed and have adjusted everything on the TV it has done nothing to improve it.

    I have a 75′ Samsung 6300 and seems to be working very well.

    For a Premium unit I am so very disappointed.

    Good design, but…

    The TV itself is very well designed and looks great. The picture quality has been good, but after a few months of use it consistently would disconnect from the WiFi, making it a hassle to stream anything. It has gotten to the point where I have had to hard-wire it into my router. Thankfully that was an option. Also, it no longer recognizes my gaming console or sound bar. I have run the setup several times but it still will not recognize the sound bar which is plugged into HDMI 4 (ARC). My only option has been to bluetooth the sound bar to the TV, which I have to do every time I turn it on. If I had done some more research before the purchase, I would have realized that this is a common complaint from customers and it doesn’t appear like Samsung is doing anything to fix the situation. At this price point, I would expect the basics to work, especially after only a few months of use. Disappointing.

    After returning 2 TVs, we LOVE this Samsung

    We had to return 2 TVs to Best Buy this week because we couldn’t get them to work properly with our system but the Samsung was a breeze and is a fantastic TV. We bought this one at Costco, got a 7 year free extended warranty! Seriously this TV setup is so easy and great. The remote controls all our devices and it is really sleek and super intuitive. We love the easy setup, the universal remote, picture, TV apps, sound and everything about it.
    We also bought a slim, tilt and easy move about mounting system which I highly recommend for even easier setup.
    We bought 3 TVs this week and went through heck
    setting them up and we couldn’t get them to work right. So bummed and kind of mad we had to pack them up and drive them back to store.
    We had such a problem with glare on the first one, then got talked into a Sony which we hated so much. The remote was so far inferior than the Samsung. We love the fact that this one is remote controlling all devices beautifully. Picture is just awesome. Love, love, love this TV.

    My husband and I bought each other this TV for Christmas in 2017. My husband is an RV tech and is very familiar with Samsung products so we felt confident we were buying a good quality product. We loved it, raved about it, and were so happy…until February 2019. The TV powered off and refused to turn back on. Great timing dying 1 month after the warranty is up.     Bought this TV from Costco about a month ago. Picture quality is very good but because of 2 issues I cannot recommend this TV. The first issue is a constant ticking and popping sound from the rear of the TV. The sound is definitely the plastic case stress expanding and contracting from heating and cooling of the internal components. Very poor design and very annoying. Second item which just started recently, every time I turn the TV on, it will search for a source, which is a Comcast cable box which is always on and sending a signal to the TV so it should never have to search for a source. The TV will sync up with the box after a minute. The noise is a deal breaker so I will be returning the set.

    Can’t see anything except glare

    This is my first 4k smart TV. I’m loving all of the smart features, and the picture quality seems great. Even the audio is above par for TV speakers. But this TV has a major flaw that I just can’t get over… that is the glare. I mean, if you live in a pitch black cave that is never exposed to any form of light, I bet it’s great. But for the rest of us who have our TVs in normal homes with windows, light fixtures, etc you simply cannot see whatever you are trying to watch on the screen, just bright glare. I’ll probably have to return it and go back to my older model of Samsung TV that did not have this issue.

    What is with the useless REMOTE?

    TV is OK, but the remote is useless, does not control many other devices. Has no numeric keys. To change to a 4 digit channel, you need to hit between 20 – 40 clicks (arrow up, down, left, right on screen to pick number) to change channels. First thing I had to do was buy a NEW UNIVERISAL REMOTE. Very disappointed with the remote. They say it is a universal remote? It can only control a few devices, 4 out of 7 units I need controlled.
