    Good TV but…

This review can be seen on bestbuy website with photos too

Bought 75inch Q7 tv. Everyone has talks about the picture quality of the QLED series. That is true.
I give this model 4 stars only becoz of these facts

    1. My biggest reason to buy the TV was no gap feature with appropriate wall mount. I was debating frame tv vs this QLED. Also got a no gap 75inch Samsung wall mount. I was disappointed to see a large gap in between my dry wall and TV after Geek squad installed my TV. More so at the top of the TV as this things tilts forward. So if you are buying the TV for the no gap feature that they are promoting, be ready to get disappointment.

    2. My reason to buy this tv was also the new ambient mode. So far this feature has been a huge disappointment. The ambient mode works with the smartthings app. Good luck with that. Even Samsung support couldn’t help. Can’t upload my pics to tv. Neither can customize background. I wonder stand that is probably a issue with the app, but if major part of market g of the product is based on this feature, you need to make sure that it works with the app. Contacted support and they blamed my iPhone X. Unfortunately I don’t have a new android phone. I have a older Samsung phone and the app does not work on older phones either.

I had an old movie on the other night and my houseguests thought Cary Grant and Eva Marie Saint were going to climb right out of the screen, so realistic is the picture.

Great image – with other issues

I’m on my second set now. The first one had occasional spontaneous restart issues (sometimes not for days, other times 2-3 times in a single hour!), as well as the ambient mode (sometimes!) turning off the set after exactly 60 seconds. When it developed a thin horizontal and vertical line – it was time to go.

New set – no lines, great picture, BUT…. same power issues. I’ve unplugged everything, factory reset, verified it’s running 1103 firmware, but no dice.

I think I might just have to return it for a refund – not sure why I’d try a THIRD time (doubt it’ll be “the charm”)

I luv it, it’s a little different them my 2 previous Samsungs, but I luv it. These TVs have some many bells and whistles, but this one has been very easy to fully understand. I had amazon prime, for 4 years and I did not know how to work it, but now I do as well as several other ppplication.

    Thanks Samsung

    Awesome TV

The TV has a sleek design with minimal frame margins, but HUGE on picture quality and color definition! Took a year doing comparison after comparison shopping on what I thought were comparable TVs to the Q9F. SO HAPPY, I chose this TV! I have not had 1 second of buyers remorse since mounting this piece of art on my wall. The family loves the in house movie theater quality

    Best TV Ever

This is literally the best TV I have ever seen. The deep blacks, along with the extreme brights make for a huge upgrade from only a couple years ago. There is a minor bug that steals the current source to TV Plus, but I have faith Samsung will fix it.

This amazing Tv has the best picture I have ever seen. It is great for our home theater room. The features are very well put together. It even made typing my review a whole lot easier without pressing the remote buttons a thousand times.

We love our Q9F 75″ display – Great purchase

We have had our Q9F display for a couple of months and are loving it. We made the switch from a ceiling mounted front projector unit and have not looked back. The color, brightness and sharpness are all more than we had hoped for. Great job Samsung. 🙂

The one issue that we continue to have is that the installation of the NetFlix app continually fails with Error Code: 118001. After chatting with both Netfix and Samsung customer support, neither are claiming that it is their issue. So we have fallen back to using Netflix from a different device. Perhaps when an updated firmware is available for the Q9F, this issue will be resolved. This is the only negative issue that we have had with this unit.

Now we are just waiting for the N8500 DVD UHD player to be released. Please hurry!!

    Connect Box Just Stop Working

I purchase my TV on July of this year, since I was remodeling the second floor and the attic I waited to setup my new TV in our new theater room. last week I and friend set it up and 2 days later the one connect box just stop working and the TV is just on the wall. They are sending me another box but for the money I spent they should of given me another TV. I also read online that they are having problems with the replacement one connect box. The one connect box doesn’t read the hdmi ports.

    Great TV, when it works…./

Have 3 other Samsung TVs and have never had any issues so I decided to get this one. Was a great TV for the first month before the issue of it turning on and off by itself started. It would do it maybe once a week. Now it does it every 30 seconds and sometimes won’t turn back on until unplugged and plugged back in. They say they are sending me a new one connect cable and that should end my problem but what wasn’t explained to me was if the problem is in the cable, how can I reset the TV and it can stay on the startup screen for an entire day without turning off once. Id hate to smash this TV on my driveway and by a different brand but what good is a TV that can’t stay on for more than a minute??!!

    Superb Functionality

I’ve had my Q9FN65 for 5 months now and this is the best TV I could have ever imagined owning. The picture quality is superb, the aesthetics is very sleek, but what I love most about it is the remote control and how tactile it is with simple clean elegant buttons that make navigating through all the menus and channel surfing so gloriously tactile and easy. I cannot imagine better designed TV than this.

    Great When It Works…

I had my TV for all of a week and a half before it began powering itself on and off. I called tech support and was told there was an issue with the One Connect cable and that they would ship a replacement within 5-14 business days. I wasn’t happy with that response considering how much I paid for the TV but I didn’t have any other options. I followed up today (day 11) because I hadn’t receive confirmation the cable had shipped and they tell me they’re behind because of the holidays. The cable hasn’t shipped and it will take another 5-14 business days. I call that poor customer service.

For the week and a half I got to enjoy it, I loved the picture quality. I also like the One Connect box – it makes connecting my home audio, Apple TV and Blue Ray player super easy. The ambient mode was touted as a great feature but mine didn’t work consistently so I wouldn’t purchase the TV based on that feature. As it stands today, I rate this product as poor.

    TV for only 2 weeks

My TV lasted only two weeks. The TV experienced the well documented power cycle failure with these TVs. The one connect box cable is the usuall culprit. The cable was install correctly and not damaged in anyway. People complain about the Apple tax and their ridiculous prices, what about the price of the one connect cable $200-$300? Fortunately, Best Buy is sending me a replacement TV. However, I will probably take back the replacement and get a better quality TV from a more reputable comapny.

One betrer think long and hard before you purchase one of these TVs. The one connect box is a poorly designed and executed feature that creates a major cause for premature failure.
